i've travelled all my life. first time i was 9 months old heading to nyc on my debut flight. canada, brazil, spain, cuba, belgium, madeira island and france followed. but the last three years were the most fulfilling. portugal, usa, uruguay, brazil, costa rica, germany, france, spain, azores. been to some fascinating cities and met some interesting people. driving northbound and southbound through the lusitânia roads. rockin' the streets of manhattan from harlem to battery park and bar hopping in brooklyn. sipping yerba mate in montevideo and jogging the coast of punta del este. sharing waves with dolphins in pipa. jungle riding in guanacaste and surfing tamarindo. beer and wurst and checkpoint charlie in berlin. going down the line in seignosse, getting shacked in hossegor, tripping in biarritz. croissant hunting and wine tasting in paris. dreaming and chilling in mundaka. chomping on tapas in barcelona. rollin' through the green in são miguel. i've made new friends and revisited old friends. and the things i love about all of this? packing. torn up maps. open roads. different skies. people. smiles. scribbled notebook. smells. driving. stopping. shooting frames. sharing stories. coming home. and the only thing i need to have all this is drive.

faz hoje 20 anos que foi libertado. foi preso em 1962. sentenciado a 5 anos de prisão. sentenciado novamente a prisão perpétua. escapou a uma pena de morte por enforcamento. foi-lhe proposto uma liberdade condicional em troca do seu silêncio. recusou. e não se calou. "unam-se, mobilizem-se, lutem". foi a resposta dele ao silêncio proposto. em 1990 é libertado. 3 anos depois ganha o nobel da paz. porquê tudo isto? pela liberdade. pela igualdade. pela paz.

fall out boy patrick stump doing his own thing. literally. he's going solo and he's recording a new album in which he plays all instruments. we'll see how that comes out. so far so good.
